WHO IS SAZALI SAMAD?

A native of Batu Pahat, Johor who was born on 8 August 1967. Received his early education at Sekolah Rendah Limpoon 2, Batu Pahat and continued his studies at Sekolah Menengah Dato ‘Bentara Luar, Batu Pahat, Johor. In the early stages, he tended to play sepak takraw, and once represented the school and Batu Pahat District in the sport. However, everything changed to bodybuilding after seeing the success of the country’s bodybuilding champion at that time, Datuk Malek Noor who at that time excelled at the Asian level. From then on, he kept his resolve to become a bodybuilding champion.

His first moments in the world of bodybuilding while serving with the Ministry of Home Affairs in 1987 which initially registered as a member of the Royal Malaysia Police Gymnasium Club in Bukit Aman because of his interest and ambition to become a bodybuilder under the concern and guidance ASP Roslan bin Ahmad.

His seriousness and discipline have attracted the attention of ASP Roslan who is also in silence can trace his talents. ASP Roslan has invited him to join the police force.

On 2 May 1992, he joined the police force through the recruitment of Additional Constables (K / T), was promoted to Corporal / T on 1 January 2001, Sergeant / T on 1 April 2007, Sergeant Major / S on 10 November 2010 and Sub Inspector / S on 26 November 2010. Since he entered the field of police, as a whole he was assigned to the PDRM Sports Council by holding various positions.
